im trying to print to a windows xp computer and i keep getting this message from cups -usr-libexec-cups-backend-smb
Entities;print encode_entities($_)’
rafb.net/p/7dTexV56.html
i want to be able to shut down from xfce
there you go
matt271, sudo. works for xfce
I think I’m going to try manually restarting sshd with as much debugging or verbosity as possible and see if there are any problems binding to the port
when I comment out dri it says the module wasn’t loaded for AIGLX. what is that? where do I turn it off?
It’s just weird that it would report as being ok if there were any errors
good idea
matt271, check its help on it, it will give plenty of guidance
^_^
you are the best
like half of gentoos pages r down
matt271, xfce’s help
^lord, kernel git doesn’t even recognize it yet.. so no linux hosting will at this time
the only snag is that you might need to install HTML-Parser.
installed
hello guys and gals, am I correct when I say gentoo-wiki.com is down?
… Anyone Know If GHC Is Available Through Emerge …
yes
too bad :/
darn
indeed
waiting for it myself
ahhh
DJ-DrIP[AR], * dev-lang/ghc
packages.gentoo.org as well I noticed
^_^

I feel like I’ve installed a bunch of crap, to the point I rather just start-fresh, is there a simple way to use the current live distro instead of getting a bootcd
DJ-DrIP[AR]: try the gentoo-portage website or just running emerge –search ghc or emerge –search haskell
ahhh
ok
ty
edwardog, g-p is down also
bummer. I thought it was external
I got to the point to installing E17……tried the site……dead :/
sux
thanks for your time spent solving my problem.. but it seems i only have to wait..
edwardog, I think g-p and g-w is on the same server
yeah, I think there’s a section on doing just that in the Gentoo handbook
ah, ok
oh I must’ve overlooked it. I’ll check again, thanks
^lord, try looking at the kernel bug reporting or post in the kernel driver mailing list.. maybe it will get the ball rolling faster
dang i wish i had a faster system for my gentoo java server hosting
compiling takes forever
this works also: perl -MHTML
